The Music Icon Plays a Hell Version of Herself in Fictional Documentary First Look
The Grammy-winning artist is gearing up for a substantial big screen appearance in 2026, beginning with the mockumentary titled The Moment.
In the film, the artist portrays what she describes as a twisted version of her public image.
It’s the truest representation of the entertainment world that I’ve ever witnessed, the performer stated.
She further explained in an interview: This isn’t a concert film, however the inspiration came from the demand to create one.
A Glimpse into The Film
The debut trailer, released on this week, blends real clips from Charli’s Sweat tour with fictionalized backstage scenes.
The film is overseen and co-authored by her collaborator, who shared that the story centers on a reality where the artist opted for alternate decisions throughout the promotion of her smash hit album Brat.

This project is just one of several future movie projects for the musician, who already starred in three festival films this year.

Additionally, she joined to feature in Dakota Johnson’s first film as director A Tree in Blue.

Soundtrack Involvement
Next February will also bring the debut of Emerald Fennell’s version of Wuthering Heights, which will include new music from the artist.
She will also compose the score for the story Mother Mary, starring Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, set to be released soon.
The Moment is set to premiere on January 30.
