Ex- National Football League Player Antonio Brown Files Not Guilty Plea in Murder Attempt Trial
Ex- National Football League star Antonio Brown is traveling to Miami to confront an murder attempt allegation related to a gunfire that occurred in May, as his counsel entering a not guilty response on his behalf.
Detention logs in Essex, New Jersey, show that Brown was freed on Tuesday early for his relocation to the state of Florida. Brown, one of the most popular players in the NFL, had forgone transfer to Florida from New Jersey, in which he was taken after being arrested in Dubai.
Brown’s lawyer, Mark Eiglarsh, stated in an email that he has earlier submitted a written innocent declaration to the murder attempt allegation. Brown could be in a Miami court as soon as Wednesday morning for a bail hearing, Eiglarsh added.
Based on his arrest order, Brown is alleged of seizing a handgun from a protection employee after a public figure boxing bout in May and discharging a couple of rounds at a man he had clashed with previously. The claimed victim, Zul-Qarnain Kwame Nantambu, told authorities that a bullet touched his throat.
Eiglarsh asserted that Brown was merely safeguarding himself from Nantambu.
