In parallel, this series' most mysterious creature—known as t. ocellus or the eyeball alien—is moved away from a high-tech research unit into a transportable chamber placed in the office of Prodigy CEO Boy Kavalier. Despite t. ocellus has minimal screentime in "Emergence", it once again capture the attention whenever it is shown. Mayhem unfolds across Neverland as a Xenomorph prowls freely, targeting everything in its path.

Additionally, the modified humans—together as The Lost Boys—are completely cut off after their monitoring devices are deactivated. One character, Nibs, struggles with what she has become, muttering quietly, "I no longer believe I exist anymore..."

Cunning and Menace

Within Kavalier's quarters, the ocular being shows off its extraordinary cognitive ability. As Kavalier writes the starting digits of pi—3.14—on his palm, he tests the creature to show the next digits.

In response, the monster presses out the correct numbers before relieving itself on the ground. What seems like a bit of lightness quickly shifts into something unnerving as the creature begins bleating aggressively.

Notably, Kavalier's stoic assistant, Atom, shares his concerns about the scenario. "Boss, I must repeat my concerns," he says. "In case this creature managed to escape and infiltrate within the human population—"

A Frightening Idea

Rather than heeding the warning, Kavalier interprets it as a idea and states that he intends to find a individual to "feed" to t. ocellus.

"You are right, we should… absolutely, we should move it into a human host," Kavalier remarks. "Someone who speaks and has bodily functions."

While the chapter withholds who Kavalier has in consideration for this macabre experiment, a lot of fans are wondering that the character himself might be the target. After all, people is curious to find out what the creature has to express.
